Meet the Author

Connie LaCapra is a deceased author born in Brooklyn in 1938. She had a passion for higher education, though she never was able to attend. She was an artist, writer, secretary, wife, and mom, who raised four children in Mineola, Long Island, and wrote a children’s book series. Today, part of that series is being brought to life by her youngest daughter.
